People with disabilities are sometimes overlooked or overshadowed when organizations think about and take action on diversity, inclusion, and equity processes and practices. The Commitments List, created by Disability Lab’s Disability Inclusion Advisory Group, outlines 10 activities that law firms and corporations can and should employ to build a culture of inclusivity for disabled colleagues.

Research shows that unconscious bias training doesn’t work as a one-off training seminar. Join 30+ law firms and legal departments in 2025 to pilot a year-long, science-driven approach, known as the DEI AV Club, to raise awareness, increase proximity, and foster empathy among colleagues — three proven ways to reduce unconscious bias.

Through facilitated conversations and curated content, DEI AV Club creates opportunities for lawyers to learn, exchange perspectives and experiences, and ultimately, raise awareness and empathy to minimize bias.

Mansfield for Inclusive Teams: Launching in Spring 2025

Building diverse teams requires intentionality. Join 10 to 15 law firms to pilot a science-based, tech-supported, innovative approach to finding and selecting more inclusive teams across all practice groups and offices. Sign-ups are scheduled for Fall 2024, and the pilot begins January 2025.
