As the Vice President of Innovation & AI at Diversity Lab, Joe brings over two decades of experience in the legal industry, coupled with a passion for leveraging technology to drive meaningful change. Joe is a strategic leader with a proven track record in overseeing growth, operational excellence, and innovative projects. His expertise spans litigation, data analytics, machine learning, and artificial intelligence.

Joe’s journey began with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Michigan, followed by a Juris Doctor and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Detroit Mercy. He further honed his skills with a Certificate in Data Analytics for Business Professionals from the University of Chicago Graham School and a Certificate in AI Applications for Growth from Northwestern University Kellogg School of Management. Currently, he is pursuing a Master of Science in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning from Colorado State Global.

Throughout his career, Joseph has demonstrated a commitment to continuous learning and innovation. As the Managing Partner at Foley Mansfield in Chicago, he led the integration of technology into legal practices, significantly enhancing operational efficiency and client outcomes. His initiatives included developing and implementing machine learning tools for litigation management and alternative fee structures, showcasing his ability to merge legal expertise with technological advancements.

Joe’s technical skills include proficiency in Python programming, data analytics, and artificial intelligence. His ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences and his high emotional intelligence and strong relationship skills make him an effective leader and collaborator.

Outside of his professional endeavors, Joseph is passionate about family, music, and continuous learning, particularly in technology and innovation.
