Hilary Ware is the Head of Privacy, Apple. She is the former Vice President & Deputy General Counsel at Discord . Prior to these roles shes was the Associate General Counsel & Vice President of Litigation & Regulatory Affairs at Netflix, where she had global responsibility for Netflix’s core legal teams. She is an alumna of Wellesley College, where she double majored in Political Science and English, and received her Master’s in Education from Harvard Graduate School of Education and her JD from Harvard Law School. After a federal clerkship in Miami, she moved to San Francisco, where after litigating at a big firm and then managing litigation and investigations in-house at Google, she joined Netflix where she founded the Legal Diversity Committee. She is also a frequent speaker on issues of diversity & inclusion and work-life balance in the legal profession.
