Camilo defends employers in single-plaintiff, multi-plaintiff, and class action cases involving wrongful termination, discrimination, retaliation, wage and hour issues, unfair competition, non-competes, and The Unruh Act. In his appellate practice, Camilo has represented both appellants and appellees in state and federal courts, and has been successful in defending all grants of summary judgment that have been appealed. His two decades of experience include over three years as in-house counsel for NBC Universal.
Camilo is a champion for diverse attorneys. He is the Partner-in-Charge of the Los Angeles office, Chair of the Executive Committee, and a member of the firm’s Diversity Executive Counsel that oversees all diversity, equity and inclusion efforts at the firm. Camilo also has served in leadership roles at the Hispanic National Bar Association, the California Minority Counsel Program, and other diversity-focused organizations.
